Role To support the team in delivering high-quality care and learning opportunities, while completing a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification for 12 months and 1 day. The role combines hands-on experience with structured training. Key Responsibilities - Assist in planning and delivering play-based learning activities. - Support children’s personal, social, emotional and physical development. - Help with daily routines including meals, toileting and sleep times. - Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating learning environment. - Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families. - Follow all safeguarding, EYFS and health & safety procedures. - Attend training sessions, submit coursework and engage with assessor visits. Requirements - Passion and genuine interest in working with young children. - Willingness to learn, reflect and grow professionally. - Enhanced DBS required. - Right to work in the UK.

To understand and work to nursery policies and procedures, including how to manage child protection issues appropriately and how to respond to incidents, accidents, complaints and emergencies ● Ensure confidentiality with regard to the staff, parents and children is adhered to at all times ● To help children and families to settle into the nursery’s routine and environment ● To support children in their everyday interaction with others and development of social skills ● To work as part of a team to provide a high quality early years curriculum based on the Early Years Foundation Stage
