Our move to a purpose-built cabin marks an exciting new chapter for Marden Pre-school. We are looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for this next step and wants to be part of the journey. Bring your ideas, creativity and passion for early years as we make our new space a welcoming place for children to play, learn and grow.

Location: Marden Preschool, Co Marden Primary Academy, Marden Hereford HR1 3EW
Pay: [£13.00-£13.50
Hours: To be negotiated for right candidate
Contract: [Permanent / fixed-term; term-time / year-round]
Start date: asap

Your part in their early years

• Bring learning to life through high-quality play, teaching and imaginative experiences.
• Follow children’s interests, offering meaningful interactions that support their development.
• Help create a safe, secure environment where children feel confident to explore.
• Plan next steps that reflect each child’s interests and developmental needs.
• Contribute to planning and work collaboratively with the pre-school team.

What you’ll bring

We are looking for someone caring, enthusiastic and imaginative, who values every child as an individual and shares our commitment to inclusive early years care.

Essential qualifications: A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, or a willingness to train on the job.
Experience: Experience in an early years setting is preferred, but we welcome applications from candidates without experience who bring the right qualities and a willingness to learn.
Other essential requirements: A kind, caring and fun approach, with plenty of energy and enthusiasm for playing and learning alongside children.

Our recruitment process includes:

• Completing the required enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, including a children’s barred list check where required. New employees cannot start work until the required check has been received.
