About the opportunity

Due to the expansion of our provision, we are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Early Years Educator to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about giving young children the best possible start in life through high-quality care, purposeful play and positive relationships.

About the role

• Provide a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for children.
• Plan and support engaging learning experiences indoors and outdoors.
• Observe, assess and support children’s individual learning and development.
• Act as a key person, building secure relationships with children and their families.
• Promote inclusion and provide appropriate support for children with SEND.
• Follow the EYFS, safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality and setting procedures.
• Work positively with colleagues, parents, carers and other professionals.
• Support children’s personal care needs with dignity and respect.

About you

• Ideally hold a full and relevant Level 3 early years qualification, although suitable Level 2 applicants and those working towards Level 3 are welcome to apply.
• Have a good understanding of child development and the EYFS.
• Understand your responsibility to safeguard children and report concerns promptly.
• Be warm, patient, reliable, creative and able to work well as part of a team.
• Communicate confidently and professionally with children, families and colleagues.
• Be willing to undertake training and develop your professional practice.
• Previous experience in an early years setting is desirable.
