Shooting Stars Nurseries, Tettenhall, Wolverhampton (WV3 9PE) Full Time | £33,480 per annum

Lead, Inspire & Grow at Shooting Stars Tettenhall

We're incredibly proud of what we've already achieved since opening Shooting Stars Tettenhall in January 2026. Thanks to the support of local families and the dedication of our team, the nursery is thriving and continuing to grow.

As we begin the next chapter of our journey, we're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Deputy Nursery Manager to join our leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate Early Years professional who loves leading teams, driving quality and creating exceptional experiences for children and families.

Working closely with our Nursery Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the nursery, developing colleagues, maintaining outstanding standards, and helping our setting continue to flourish. Most importantly, you'll help nurture a positive, inspiring environment where children, families and team members feel valued, supported and able to thrive.

Whether you're already an established Deputy Manager or an experienced nursery leader ready for your next step, we'd love to hear from you. If you're passionate about developing others, leading by example and making a real difference, we'd love to welcome you to our growing Shooting Stars family.

  • Minimum two years' post-qualification Early Years experience
  • Strong leadership and supervisory experience within a nursery setting

  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional outcomes for children

Ideally, you'll have

  • 1-2 years' experience in a Deputy Nursery Manager or equivalent leadership role
  • Experience leading teams within an established or growing nursery setting
  • A proven ability to inspire, coach and develop colleagues
  • Experience supporting quality improvement and driving high standards
  • A positive, proactive and solutions-focused approach
