Your Role

• Plan and lead engaging Forest School sessions, encouraging outdoor exploration and learning

• Support children through hands-on, nature-based activities that promote curiosity and independence

• Create opportunities for risk-taking, problem-solving, and imaginative play in a safe environment

• Track and reflect on children’s development, supporting key milestones

• Build strong relationships with parents and carers, sharing children’s progress and experiences

• Ensure high standards of safeguarding, child welfare, and health & safety at all times

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive environment

• Bring energy, creativity, and a passion for outdoor learning into everyday practice

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification and Full & Relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)

• Experience working with children (e.g. Nursery Practitioner, Forest School Assistant or similar)

• Strong understanding of child development and individual learning needs

• Passion for outdoor and nature-based learning

• Knowledge of Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and early years legislation

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Adaptable, proactive, and enthusiastic approach
