We are looking for a passionate and inspiring early years professional to support the leadership of our nursery and make a real difference in children’s early years.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will:
✨ Support the Nursery Manager in leading, motivating and developing a dedicated team
✨ Lead by example, creating a positive, collaborative environment where staff feel valued and inspired
✨ Assist with recruitment, inductions, staff development and supervisions
✨ Step up to lead the nursery in the Manager’s absence
✨ Ensure the nursery provides a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for all children
✨ Support high-quality curriculum planning tailored to each child’s development
✨ Monitor children’s progress and promote wellbeing and emotional development
✨ Help oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring strong organisation and compliance

A suitable Level 3 childcare qualification, recognised by the Department for Education.
A good understanding of the EYFS.
Excellent understanding of the English language, spoken and written.
A strong understanding of safeguarding practices.
Previous childcare experience within an early years setting, with some leadership or senior practitioner experience desirable.
A cleared DBS check.
The ability to extend children’s learning through high-quality experiences and activities.
Experience of supporting or managing a group of key children.
Strong communication skills with both adults and children.
A commitment to reflective practice and continuous professional development.
