Purpose of the Role A Nursery Practitioner (also called an Early Years Practitioner) is responsible for supporting the learning, development, and well‑being of children from birth to five years old. The role ensures children are cared for in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment, while following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
