SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) SCQF level 9 - for managers, deputy managers and seniors supervising staff  The Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) in Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF level 9 allows candidates to demonstrate competence in job related skills in their particular area of work.  This qualification has been designed in partnership with the Sector Skills Council, Skills for Care and Development to ensure relevance to the sector. To undertake your SVQ you will be observed in your practice working with children and young people and complete a variety of written assessments and reflective accounts reflecting on your practice. You will need to be involved in leading projects, meetings, changing policies and doing support and supervision meetings/appraisals for staff.
