Job Description Purpose of the Role: To support the nursery manager/lead nursery teacher in the effective day-to-day running of the preschool, ensuring high standards of care, education and safeguarding at all times. The deputy nursery manager will be the DDSL for the setting and will provide leadership and management support to nursery staff, role-modelling outstanding practice at all times and step into the nursery manager’s role in their absence. We are looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager to join the team at this family-run nursery in Wimbledon, with an ASAP start! This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Deputy Manager, Third in Charge or high-performance Room Leader to showcase their leadership and management skills and it can be a great stepping stone in your career! This nursery offers career progression and is a great place to further your early years career. As a Deputy Manager, it is essential you hold (at minimum) a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, and at least 2 years experience in a nursery is required. Good IT skills are also required. This is a permanent and full time role to work 4 days a week, 7:30am-6:30pm, all year round. The salary will range from £31,200-£34,320 per annum.
