St. Francis Nursery and Family Centre, based in Tower Hamlets, offers high quality early education and care for children aged from 9 months – 5 years.  We also provide holistic family support, helping to give all children the best possible start in life.  We are now at an important stage in our development, growing and enhancing our early years offer to support even more children and families.  We’d love for you to join us!

What we are looking for

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Practitioner who is passionate about teaching and learning and is committed to providing the highest standards of care and education for every child. Working with our dedicated team, you will be committed to creating a caring, creative and fun environment where all children can thrive.

You will have:

• A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or above.
• Received training that specifically addresses the care of babies.
• At least two years’ experience of working as an Early Years Practitioner (including at least two years’ experience of working with children under the age of two).
• Up-to-date knowledge of the EYFS framework and a demonstrable track record of delivering high quality early years education.
• A passion for making a difference to the lives of children and families.

Salary

£25,000 – £28,000 per annum pro rata (dependent on qualifications/experience)

Hours

We are recruiting for several posts:

• Role 1: 5 hours per day, 8am -1pm, Monday to Friday (25 hours per week)
• Role 2: 5 hours per day, 1pm – 6p, Monday to Friday (25 hours per week)
• Role 3: 6 hours per day, 9.30am – 3.30pm (30 hours per week, with a 1 hr lunch)

Location

This roles will be based at our family centre in Poplar, Tower Hamlets.
