Early Years Nursery Practitioner

Qualified Early Years Nursery Practitioner role to start ASAP in SE London  
   
Great opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner with a Level 2 or 3 qualification to start a new role at a warm and friendly nursery in Deptford with immediate start!  
 
This is a great nursery with excellent resources, including a private garden and sensory room, and located in Deptford it's easy to get to thanks to the good transport links and staff parking, as well as the nursery offering a cycle to work scheme. As an Early Years Practitioner you will be joining a team of dedicated staff and some of your day-to-day duties will include:  

• Planning and leading activities that stimulate children's imagination and creativity
• Encouraging development through interactive play and age-appropriate learning experiences, including child-led play and learning 
• Assisting with early reading and early maths skills development, following the EYFS curriculum   
• Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development    
• Helping and encouraging children to develop positive relationships and to build on their social skills  
• Creating an environment that is language rich and supportive, allowing each child to grow at their own pace 
• Motivating children to think creatively  

The suitable Nursery Practitioner should have a good understanding of and good attitude towards working in EYFS, and a relevant Early Years or Childcare qualification is essential. 

This is a permanent role to work full time, 40 hours a week, with a salary from £28k-£32k per annum.
