Qualified Early Years Practitioners – Basingstoke & Newbury

Locations: Basingstoke & Newbury - RG22, RG24 & RG14

Are you a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner looking for a new opportunity? Are you passionate about childcare but looking for flexibility in your working week? This could be the role for you!

We are recruiting for enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Practitioners to support fantastic nurseries across Basingstoke and Newbury, particularly within the RG22, RG24 and RG14 postcode areas.

Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work, we'd love to hear from you!

Ideally, you will be a driver and happy to travel around 30 minutes to settings.

What will you be doing?

  • Building positive relationships with children and encouraging learning through play
  • Getting involved in activities and supporting children's interests
  • Supervising children during indoor and outdoor play
  • Supporting with snack and mealtimes
  • Helping to prepare and tidy away activities
  • Assisting with general housekeeping duties
  • Working alongside the nursery team to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 relevant Early Years qualification
  • Has consistent recent experience working with children aged 0–5
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Is confident working across different nursery environments
  • Is reliable, hardworking and able to use their initiative
  • Has a genuine passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing
