Job Description

CLASS Recruitment is looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable Nursery Assistants to support nurseries across Portishead and the surrounding areas.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Supporting fun, creative and play-based activities
  • Helping children learn, grow and explore
  • Supporting mealtimes and daily routines
  • Creating a safe, happy and stimulating environment

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Nursery/childcare experience within the last 5 years, OR experience teaching, coaching or volunteering with children aged 0–5
  • Aged 18 or over
  • Available between 8am and 6pm on weekdays
  • Reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable
  • Confident communicating with children and staff
  • Able to travel to nurseries across Bristol
  • Willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS if required

Driving is desirable but not essential.

You can opt in for same-day bookings! We'll contact you the day before to see if you'd like to be on call the following morning.

You'll need to be available to receive calls between 6:30am and 7am on agreed weekdays and be prepared to accept suitable same-day bookings.
