Job Description
CLASS Recruitment is recruiting enthusiastic and reliable qualified and unqualified Nursery Practitioners to join our team across Weston-Super-Mare and surrounding areas.
We also work with nursery settings across North Somerset including Nailsea, Portishead, Blagdon, Wrington, Yatton, Congresbury, Flax Bourton and more!
If you have experience working with children and are looking for flexible, rewarding nursery work, we can offer excellent rates of pay, weekly pay, and ongoing support from experienced Early Years consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage warmly and empathetically with children aged 0–5 years
- Support nursery staff with daily activities and play
- Assist with setting up and packing away activities
- Support during snack and lunchtime routines
- Ensure children’s safety and wellbeing during indoor and outdoor play
- Carry out light cleaning and tidying duties
Requirements
- Minimum 3 months’ childcare experience (paid or voluntary, referenceable)
- Enhanced DBS (on the update service or completed upon registration)
- Must be 18+
- Drivers desirable but not essential
What We Offer
- Flexible hours to suit your schedule (full or part-time)
- Shifts between 8am–6pm (minimum 2 days per week)
- Excellent weekly pay – up to £15.30 per hour (depending on experience/qualification)
