Job Title: Level 3 Room Leader
Location: Marylebone, London, W1U
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Start Date: Mid-November
Salary: Open to negotiation based on experience

Solus Deus Recruitment Agency is recruiting two experienced and passionate Level 3 Room Leaders for a growing nursery in Marylebone.
The nursery is seeking one Room Leader for its baby room and one for its preschool room. This is an excellent opportunity for practitioners who are ready to take on greater responsibility and progress as the nursery expands.
Key responsibilities:
• Lead and support the daily running of your designated room
• Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children
• Plan and deliver engaging experiences in line with the EYFS
• Support children’s learning, development and emotional wellbeing
• Complete observations, assessments and progress records
• Build positive relationships with children and their families
• Guide and support practitioners within the room
• Maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios
• Promote strong safeguarding, health and safety practices
• Work closely with the nursery manager and wider team
• Support smooth transitions and effective settling-in arrangements
Essential requirements:
• A UK-recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification that is full and relevant
• Previous experience working within an early-years setting
• A sound understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
• Confidence in leading and supporting a room team
• Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete the required checks
• Satisfactory professional references
