Nursery Practitioner Level 3

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early years education and experience working with children in a nursery setting.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive. You will be responsible for supporting children's learning and development through engaging activities, building positive relationships with children and their families, and ensuring their individual needs are met in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Responsibilities

• Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning and development.
• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Build strong relationships with children, encouraging their social and emotional development.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and nap schedules.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive team environment.
• Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance.
• Ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe, and conducive to learning.

Skills

• Holds a Level 3 Childcare qualification.
• Preferably possesses a Paediatric First Aid certificate.
• Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
• Strong understanding of early childhood education principles.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
• Leadership qualities to inspire and guide junior staff or volunteers.
• A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development.
• Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings.
