Early years Nursery Practitioner Level 2-3

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and caring Early years Practitioner to join our wonderful team at Little Blossoms. Set in idyllic surroundings amongst gorgeous orchards and farmland, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children in our care, and are proud to hold Millies mark accreditation, demonstrating our committment to excellence in paediatric first aid and keeping children safe.

Main duties include:

Working closely with children aged 0-5 years old looking after their daily needs.

To work as part of a team to deliver and meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation stage for all children

To plan, provide and support age-appropriate play opportunities in line with our curriculum and the individual needs of the children in your care

To ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all children in your care

To be a key person to an allocated number of children and their families

To obesrve assess and record children's learning and development progress

To provide and enabling environment that meets the needs of each unique individual child.

To build and maintain positive realtionships with parents/carers.

To adhere to and follow the setting's policies and procedures

To ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.

To attend regular team meetings, and additional training events and meetings.

To ensure standrads of health, hygiene and cleaniness are maintained at all times.

To liase and work in partnership with external agencies to support children within the setting as appropriate.
