• Location: Perrotts Folly Nursery, St Vincents Hall, Botany Walk, Birmingham, B16 8ED

• Salary: £30,000 per annum

• Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

• Job Type: Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our team at Perrotts Folly Nursery. Having recently completed our initial registration journey in late 2024, we are seeking an enthusiastic leader who can drive high standards of care, manage day-to-day operations, and help our setting thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and Ofsted guidelines.

• Lead on staff recruitment, induction, mentoring, and regular supervision.

• Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and maintain a secure environment for all children.

• Build strong, professional partnerships with parents, carers, and the local community.

• Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, resource allocation, and general nursery operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare and Education (or equivalent).

• Proven experience in a management or senior supervisory role within an early years setting.

• Up-to-date Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) training.

• Valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the DBS Update Service.

• Sound knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory compliance.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
