Deputy Room Leader needed ASAP in Lewisham!

We are urgently recruiting a Deputy Room Leader for this lovely nursery in Lewisham, with an ASAP start.

This is a great opportunity for any experienced Early Years Practitioner looking to step up and further their career within a supportive setting!

This is a full time role to work 40 hours a week over either 4 or 5 days, with shifts between the hours of 7:30am and 6:30pm. Salary will be £31.5k per annum.

As a Deputy Room Leader, you will be working with the 2-3 year olds, supporting the Room Leader and taking on their responsibilities when they're absent. Your other duties will include:

• Ensuring appropriate planning and assessment is accurately maintained for key children
• Preparing and supervising activities
• Assisting the Room Leader where needed
• Developing and maintaining professional working relationships with colleagues, parents and carers
• Working as part of a team to ensure the company’s values are maintained
• Attending monthly staff meetings, planning meetings and undertaking training as required

It is essential for this Deputy Room Leader role that you hold at least a Level 3 qualification in early years or childcare, and that you have experience working in a nursery or early years setting, ideally with some experience taking on extra responsibilities
