Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship  – Pangbourne Day Nursery

Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Pangbourne Day Nursery, Reading.

Requirements;

•       A Level 2 Childcare qualification is essential 
•       You must be able to gain a clear DBS
•       Preferably have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English, or equivalent or willing to work towards them

With strong links to parents and carers, we ensure every child feels valued and supported from the very start

We provide day nursery services for children aged 3 months to 5 years, with early opening hours to support busy families.

We are Close to the train station and lovely local shops, bakeries etc.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include;

• To provide high-quality care and education within a nurturing, child-led environment where children’s interests, curiosity and individual development guide daily practice
• To ensure all practice meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and maintains standards in line with Ofsted
• Act as a Key Person, forming secure attachments and tailoring support to individual needs
• Follow nursery safeguarding procedures and report concerns appropriately
• Work collaboratively with parents to support children’s development at home and nursery
• Attend training and staff meetings to continuously develop practice
• Reflect on practice and strive for high-quality outcomes

Hours;

• Pangbourne Day Nursery is open from 7:30am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday
• The successful candidate will be required to work 32 - 40 hours per week
