Salary: £41,760 per annum + Manager Bonus Scheme
Contract: Full Time, Permanent (40 hours per week)
Start Date: August/September 2026

About the Role

As Nursery Manager, you will provide both educational and operational leadership, ensuring children receive exceptional care and learning experiences in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading, motivating and developing a high-performing Early Years team
  • Maintaining outstanding standards in line with the EYFS Framework
  • Creating a positive culture where children, families and colleagues thrive
  • Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and compliance standards are upheld
  • Building strong relationships with parents, carers and external professionals
  • Managing occupancy, budgets and nursery performance
  • Supporting recruitment, staff development, succession planning and retention
  • Acting as an ambassador for the nursery within the local community

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification Early Years experience
  • At least 2 years' experience in a Nursery Manager, Deputy Nursery Manager, Third in Charge or similar leadership role
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams
  • Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional outcomes for children and families
