Childcare Apprenticeship - Level 2

Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship – Spoonbill Under 3's (Term Time Only)

Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Spoonbill Under 3's (part of the Naval under 5's Nursery Group), Gosport.

Requirements;

• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• Preferably have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English, or equivalent or willing to work towards them

A warm welcome awaits you at Spoonbill. We are a small inclusive nursery offering funded and non- funded places for children aged 3 months to 2 years. We are part the Naval Under Fives family which has 7 settings providing funded and non-funded places up to 3 years old.

Spoonbill has a dedicated team of passionate early years practitioners, the Manager and Deputy Manager and Early Years Practitioner. We frequently attend a variety of relevant training to keep our practice updated. We all work hard to develop good relationships with our families providing extra support if needed.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

• Willing to learn
• Work under guidance of current staff and mentor
• Execute activities
• Follow EYFS framework
• Working toward and understand children’s wellbeing and development
• Working to Building relationships with parents and staff
• Working to Support learning based on children’s individual needs
• Working to Providing equality of opportunity and ensure fare learning for all
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills

Hours;

• Spoonbill Under 3's is open from 9:00am – 3:00pm Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
• The successful candidate will be required to work 30 hours per week
