With three vibrant rooms (Baby Room, Toddler Room, and Pre-School), we care for up to 65 children in a warm, welcoming space rated Good by Ofsted. We’re open 7:30am–6:30pm, Monday to Friday, and we’re proud of our nurturing ethos, strong parent partnerships, and commitment to high-quality early years education.
We have recently renovated our garden area, offering a bright and stimulating space for our children.
Working hours can be full-time over 4 or 5 days.
Overview:
We’re looking for a confident, compassionate, and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our Tiny Treasures team. You’ll be the heartbeat of the nursery inspiring staff, championing curriculum excellence, and ensuring every child thrives in a safe, stimulating environment.
This is more than a management role it’s a chance to shape practice, build relationships, and lead with purpose.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the nursery with heart and vision - ensuring smooth daily operations and a joyful, child-centred atmosphere
- Empower your team - coach, motivate, and support staff to deliver outstanding care and education
- Champion curriculum delivery - embed our ethos and frameworks across all rooms, ensuring progression, creativity, and meaningful learning
- Build strong parent partnerships - communicate with warmth and clarity, celebrating children’s achievements and supporting families
- Keep children safe and thriving - uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and early years legislation with confidence
- Manage staffing and development - oversee rotas, recruitment, training, and appraisals with fairness and foresight
- Drive playful learning - support teams to plan and deliver engaging activities that spark curiosity and joy
- Handle admin with ease - manage budgets, records, and reporting with accuracy and care
- Foster a positive culture -promote kindness, inclusion, and high standards across the nursery
- Lead continuous improvement - reflect, refine, and raise the bar for quality practice
What You’ll Bring:
- Level 3 Early Years Qualification (full and relevant) or above
- Knowledge of EYFS and Statutory Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in a nursery or early years setting
- Knowledge of Health & Safety Standards in Early Years settings
- A coaching mindset and a passion for team development
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, professional presence
- Confidence in safeguarding, compliance, and inspection readiness
- A valid driving licence is desirable (for outreach or local networking)
