Shooting Stars Nursery in Worcester is seeking a passionate and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Nurse to join our dedicated team.
We are ideally looking for someone who can work full time, 40 hours per week across 5 days, however we understand the importance of flexibility and would be happy to discuss part-time working patterns for the right candidate.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Early Years professional who is committed to providing exceptional childcare and education, supporting children to learn, develop and thrive in a safe, nurturing environment.
About the Role
As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play an important role in delivering engaging learning experiences, building positive relationships with children and families, and supporting each child's individual development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
You'll be part of a welcoming and experienced team that values collaboration, professional development, and high-quality childcare.
What We're Looking For
We would love to hear from candidates who:
- Hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification
- Have experience working in a nursery, preschool, or childcare setting
- Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Are warm, caring, and passionate about supporting young children
- Can build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Are reliable, professional, and committed to delivering outstanding childcare
- Are enthusiastic about continuing their professional development
Key Responsibilities
- Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing through play-based experiences
- Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with children's interests and developmental needs
- Build secure and nurturing relationships with children and their families
- Complete observations and contribute to children's learning journeys
- Ensure children's safety, wellbeing, and individual needs are met at all times
- Maintain a stimulating, inclusive, and welcoming environment
- Follow nursery policies, safeguarding procedures, and health & safety requirements
- Work effectively as part of the wider nursery team
