Nursery Room Leader

We are looking for an experienced Room Leader to join the team at this lovely nursery in St John's Wood, North West London.

Working as a Room Leader in the preschool room, you will be leading a team of Early Years Practitioners and overseeing the smooth running of the room. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development, carrying out observations to assess children's progress and plan for next steps, and helping to prepare preschoolers for the transition into primary school.

Experience teaching phonics is required for this Room Leader role, and it is essential that you hold at least a Level 3 qualification/equivalent in Early Years or Childcare. Previous experience working as a Room Leader is also essential, ideally within the preschool room.

This nursery is open 45 weeks a year, and this role is to work Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. This is a permanent Room Leader position at this wonderful nursery where you will be supported by a caring management team, with opportunities for career progression and further training.

Located in St John's Wood, this nursery is easy to reach thanks to excellent transport links and staff parking, and there are some great parks nearby often visited on days out with the children for extended outdoor learning!
