Are looking for an experienced

Nursery Cook / Lunchtime Assistant

20 hours per week, over 5 days, all year round.

Your working hours would be 10am-2pm each day.

Our lovely team at Flying Start @ Illogan are looking for an experienced Nursery Cook / Lunchtime Assistant. We require someone to cook lunches for the children in the nursery, and then to provide lunchtime assistance to the staff. This includes supervising the children while they eat, encouraging and promoting healthy habits at mealtimes, and various aspects of cleaning the dining area.

Start date 7th September 2026.

Flying Start are looking for someone who has:

• 
  
• Food hygiene level 3 training or a willingness to obtain this immediately
  
• Allergens training or a willingness to obtain this immediately
  
• Cooking experience catering for large numbers, including a variety of allergies
