Early Years Teacher (Level 3)

£30,500 yearly

Job Description

Woodentops has been part of south-west London family life for nearly 40 years. Family-run
and proudly independent, our three nurseries are part of the White House Family, which has
been educating children in south-west London for generations. The same commitment to
kindness, resilience and the development of confident, independent young people that
defines the White House Preparatory School runs through everything we do at Woodentops
— because we believe that the habits of a lifetime are built in the earliest years.
We are looking for a passionate, qualified Early Years Teacher to join our dedicated team. If
you believe in the transformative power of the earliest years, and you want to work
somewhere that invests seriously in its people and curriculum, we’d love to hear from you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Deliver our story-led curriculum with creativity and purpose, drawing on your
knowledge of how young children learn best
• Act as key person, building warm and trusting relationships with your key children and
their families
• Plan and observe with purpose — documenting children’s learning and using it to
shape what comes next
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture where everyone’s expertise is valued and
shared
• Help create the calm, enriching environment our children and families choose
Woodentops for

• Paediatric First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Eligibility to work in the UK

WHAT WE OFFER
• £30,500 per year (£14.70/hr), reviewed annually
• 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service
