👶 Your Role

As a one-to-one support worker, you will provide individual support tailored to a child’s specific needs, helping them to engage, develop confidence, and reach their full potential.

You’ll be:

  • Providing dedicated one-to-one support tailored to an individual child’s needs
  • Building a positive, trusting relationship with the child
  • Supporting emotional wellbeing, confidence, and independence
  • Helping the child engage in learning, play, or daily routines
  • Working closely with parents, carers, and other professionals
  • Observing progress and adapting support where needed
  • Promoting a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
  • Following safeguarding procedures and all relevant policies

🌱 What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is compassionate, reliable, and committed to helping children overcome barriers and flourish.

Essential:

  • A caring, patient, and positive approach
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Experience supporting children or young people
  • Understanding of individual needs and inclusive practice
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing

Desirable:

  • Relevant qualifications in childcare, education, support work, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a one-to-one support role
    Applicants with strong relevant experience and a willingness to learn will also be considered.
