Toddler Room Leader

We are looking for a Room Leader to join the team in the Toddler Room at this lovely nursery in Vauxhall.

This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Room Leader or an Early Years Practitioner looking to make the next steps in their early years career.

This is a permanent role to work full time (36-40 hours per week) with a salary of up to £34k per annum.

As a Toddler Room Leader, you will:

• Lead a team of practitioners within the Toddler Room
• Be a key person to a small group of children and build positive relationships with their families
• Plan and create engaging and age-appropriate activities
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
• Help prepare toddlers for the transition into the Preschool Room
• Observe, assess and report on children's growth and progress, ensuring they reach their developmental targets

It is essential for this role that you hold a full and relevant Level 3 (or equivalent/higher) qualification in Early Years or Childcare, and at least 2 years of experience working in the Toddler Room of a nursery or early years setting. Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework is important for this position.
