đ Who weâre looking for
We welcome:
- Early Years practitioners (Level 2, Level 3 or above)
- Unqualified practitioners with experience or passion for Early Years
- Nursery nurses / childcare professionals
- Early Years Teachers (EYTS/QTS/EYPS)
- SEN / SEND experience (desirable)
Whether youâre experienced or starting out, weâll support you into the right role.

- Supporting children aged 0â5 in line with EYFS
- Assisting with play, learning and development activities
- Helping maintain safe, engaging environments
- Working as part of a nursery or pre-school team
- Stepping in to provide high-quality ratio cover

When you choose an Early Years professional from Reed, you’re selecting someone who is prepared beyond the standard. Whether unqualified or qualified, we ensure each candidate is more than just available - they are work-ready.
Our unqualified practitioners, though not counted in ratio, arrive with Paediatric First Aid training. In their first month, they complete DfE Early Years Child Development training, embedding essential knowledge.
Our qualified practitioners, including teachers, have their qualifications independently verified against the DfE’s statutory guidance. All Reed candidates are trained in Safeguarding, Prevent, Moving and Handling, and Food Hygiene. We run ongoing Paediatric First Aid courses so no one is left behind.
