Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship at Nanny's House, Portslade.

Nannys House has 3 rooms – babies, toddlers & preschool

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

• Support the care and supervision of children in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Assist with setting up and delivering simple activities that support children’s learning and development.
• Help with daily routines such as mealtimes, playtime, and tidying up.
• Work alongside experienced staff to observe children and support their development.
•  Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
•  Encourage positive behaviour and support children with social and communication skills.
•  Work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Take part in training, coursework, and assessments as part of the apprenticeship programme.
• Show a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to developing skills in early years childcare.

Requirements;

Someone who is:

• Enthusiastic and positive
• Reliable and hardworking
• Keen to learn and develop new skills
• Passionate about supporting young children
• Experience in childcare is desirable but not essential, we’re happy to support the right person as they learn and grow with us.

Hours;

• Nannys House is open from 8:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday
• The successful candidate will be required to work 30 - 40 hours per week
