Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship at Nanny's House, Portslade.

Nanny's House has 3 rooms – babies, toddlers & preschool

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Lead and oversee daily nursery activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
  • Manage and support nursery staff, fostering teamwork and professional development.
  • Develop and implement engaging educational programs aligned with early childhood standards.
  • Communicate effectively with parents to keep them informed about their child's progress.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance.
  • Collaborate with management to plan nursery improvements and activities.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere that reflects our commitment to quality childcare.

Requirements;

  • Proven experience in nursery management or early childhood education.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to childcare.
  • Enthusiasm for creating a fun, flexible, and nurturing environment
  • A Level 3 Childcare qualification is essential
  • GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English or equivalent

Hours;

  • Nanny's House is open from 8:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday
  • The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week can be worked over 4 or 5 days
