Recruitment & Onboarding Admin Assistant
Salary: £25,350 - £27,300 depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Head Office (West London)
Safer Recruitment: Enhanced DBS required; strong safeguarding culture
About the Role
We are looking for a full-time administrator with strong organizational and communication skills, to assist the Recruitment & Onboarding Co-ordinator with the sourcing, recruitment and onboarding of new staff for our eight nursery settings, located across West London and South Bucks.
Key responsibilities
1) Recruitment
Assisting the Recruitment & Onboarding Co-ordinator with:
- Sourcing and qualifying suitable job candidates via platforms and social media
- Posting vacancies onto job boards as required
- Promptly filtering job board applicants to identify those suitable for interview
- Carrying out initial telephone interview with potential candidates
- Arranging on site / face to face interviews with candidates
- Tracking applicants through interview process to offer or decline
2) Onboarding
Working under the direction of line managers to:
- Generate offer letters
- Check Qualifications and Right to Work Status
- Take up references and ensure the completeness of CVs, in line with Safer Recruitment
- Check applicants’ ID and making DBS applications
- Process New Starter Paperwork
- Upload New Starter Details and paperwork to PeopleHR.
- Deal with telephone enquiries and visitors to the office, carry out filing and any other ad hoc duties as required to support the needs of the business

Essential
- Ability to manage a diverse workload and work in a fast moving environment providing accurate and timely information to a high standard.
- Understanding of maintaining confidentiality.
- Good knowledge of Excel and Word and database systems
- Great communications skills both written and verbal.
- Positive and flexible approach to work and the team.
- Team player supportive of needs of the business and team pressures
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Willingness to learn and undertake further training as required.
Desirable
- Effective use of social media and LinkedIn to build networks and build market attraction
- Experience in early-years/education, care, hospitality or other high-compliance environments.
- Experience of staff resourcing/talent acquisition/recruitment
- Experience of staff onboarding processes and HR systems
