Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to oversee daily operations within a vibrant early childhood education setting. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure effective daily operations.
• Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's development in line with early childhood education standards.
• Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and licensing requirements.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Organise staff rotas, oversee recruitment processes, and facilitate ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records of development milestones.
• Manage administrative tasks including budgeting, resource procurement, and maintaining nursery documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and education provided.

Experience

• Proven management experience within a nursery or early childhood education setting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Extensive experience working directly with children, preferably within childcare or nursery environments.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting resources or attending external meetings.
