Work Hours: 27hours - 45hours per Week (Monday to Friday based on Rota Shift - all around the year)

Your Roles & Responsibilities

Plan and develop rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, that helps all children to develop, and

meets their individual needs

Make accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests, and stages of each child,

through supporting the delivery of the key person approach

Ensure the environment is providing consistent stimulating and inspiring activities for the children,

across both the indoor and outdoor areas

Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships

Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding

Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment

Be a Key Person for several Children of the setting.

Follow instructions and guidance of management team and line manager.

What we’re looking for

Hold either relevant UK Early Years Teaching Qualification of Level 3, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS),

Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full and relevant Level 6

Early Years Qualification - Required

Previous experience working within the Early Years sector

Sound knowledge of Safeguarding in Early Years.

Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage

Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child

Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents

Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults

Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative

requirements for working with children

You will be primarily located in our beautiful Nursery in Wandsworth.

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS and two satisfactory references.

Education & Qualification:• GCSE or High School Diploma (Required)

Relevant UK Early Years Teaching Qualification or Degree of Level 1/2/3 or Above

Experience: Childcare service/Nursery: 2 years (Required)

Ability to commute/relocate: London SW18 1GG: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
