Early Years Room Leader
Location: Shooting Stars Nursery, Bromsgrove, B61 0AE
Salary: £14.60 per hour | £30,368 per annum
Contract: Full‑time | 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Hours: 7:30am–6:00pm | All year round | Closed on bank holidays

What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for a confident and enthusiastic early years professional who leads with warmth, positivity and a commitment to exceptional childcare.
Essential Requirements:
- Level 3 (or above) full and relevant Early Years qualification
- Experience working in a children’s day nursery
- Previous Room Leader or Team Leader experience
- Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and SEND
- Ability to build warm, supportive relationships with children and families
- A genuine passion for providing high‑quality, child‑led care
Your Role
As our Room Leader, you will:
- Lead the room and inspire your team to deliver exceptional early years education
- Act as a Key Person and maintain strong parent partnerships
- Plan engaging, age‑appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS
- Ensure the room consistently meets all EYFS and safeguarding standards
- Create a warm, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Support, mentor and develop practitioners within the team
