Do you have a genuine passion for leading and nurturing young learners, coupled with proven experience managing a nursery effectively? WMC Training is seeking a dedicated Nursery Apprentice to join the professional, rewarding, and supportive team at London SE10 8JL
The ideal candidate will bring previous experience working with children ,a genuine interest in developing the talent of younger generations, and a strong desire to make a difference in children's lives.
Must have experience working at the nursery sector before . You will be a collaborative team member, equally capable of taking initiative, and adept at planning enriching activities.
DUTIES
Your duties as NURSERY APPRENTICE :
· To effectively deliver the EYFS ensuring that the individual needs and interest of children in the setting are met (in conjunction with other team members)
· To keep records of your key children’s development and learning journeys and share with parents, carers and other key adults in the child’s life.
· Support all staff and engage in a good staff team.
· To advise manager/deputy of any concerns, e.g. over children, parents, the safety of the environment, preserving confidentiality as necessary.
· To be involved in out of working hours activities, e.g. training, monthly staff meetings, summer fayre, etc
· To work alongside the manager and staff team to ensure that the setting’s philosophy is fulfilled.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Willing to learn a childcare qualification
- Must have experience working in the nursery
- Ability to write clear objective observations
