Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship – Jolly Tots Day Nursery (Nursery Manager role)

Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship at Jolly Tots Day Nursery.

We have 4 rooms and huge hall, and a big garden, in private area and follow EYFS framework

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

Purpose of the Role
To lead and manage the nursery effectively, ensuring high-quality care, education, and safeguarding in line with the EYFS and Ofsted requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong leadership and day-to-day management of the setting
  • Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and compliant environment
  • Ensure high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in line with the EYFS
  • Monitor staff practice and support continuous improvement
  • Promote inclusive practice and support children with SEND
  • Manage staff recruitment, induction, supervision, and performance
  • Ensure effective staff deployment and appropriate ratios
  • Build positive partnerships with parents, carers, and external professionals
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and records are up to date
  • Lead self-evaluation and prepare for Ofsted inspections
  • Maintain confidentiality and engage in ongoing professional development

Requirements;

  • A Level 3 Childcare qualification is essential
  • Previous experience in a Managers role
  • Previous experience with Ofsted
  • Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English, or equivalent 

Hours;

  • Jolly Tots Day Nursery is open from 8:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday
  • The successful candidate will be required to work 35 - 45 hours per week
