At Caring Kindergartens, children are at the heart of everything we do, so we are currently looking for individuals to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. From a fairy godmother one day to firefighter the next, no two days are ever the same.
We are currently recruiting a Housekeeper and Assistant Cook to join our long-term existing team. This is a part-time position – Monday-Friday. We can be flexible with working hours.The role will require the successful candidate to provide holiday cover for the nursery cook and support in the supervision of children at times.
To be successful in your application, you will need:
· A suitable food hygiene/cooking qualification (we can support in the update of this)
· Previous cooking experience and an understanding of allergies/dietaries
. Excellent understanding of the English language, spoken and written
· A good understanding of safeguarding practices
· Cleared DBS check before work commences
· Good communication skills with both adult and children
· Be committed to reflective practice and self-development
The nursery is easily accessible from all local areas including surrounding villages
