Location: Shooting Stars Nursery, Kings Norton, B30 3QJ
Salary: £13.40 per hour
Contract Type: Full-time | 40 hours/week | Monday to Friday (part time hours considered)
Hours: 7:30am–6:00pm | All year round | Closed on bank holidays

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking an experienced early years professional who is:

  • Level 3 qualified in Early Years (full & relevant)
  • Experienced in a children’s day nursery setting
  • Confident in delivering the EYFS and supporting children with SEND
  • Knowledgeable about safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Passionate about building strong, trusting relationships with families
  • Committed to providing high-quality, child-led care and education
 

Your Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Act as a Key Person, supporting children’s care, learning and development
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
  • Work in partnership with parents and carers to support each child holistically
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment across the nursery
  • Support Ofsted standards and contribute to ongoing quality improvements
