Mama Bear's Day Nursery is currently recruiting for a Cook to join our friendly setting based in Speedwell, Bristol. Our setting offers a stimulating, safe and welcoming environment to children and is focused on providing outstanding care to children from 3 months old to 4 years of age.

The role involves preparing and cooking fresh breakfasts, home cooked lunches, and teas for babies and young children to a set menu. As well as preparing food, the role will involve stock management, washing up duties and maintaining a clean kitchen. Very high levels of cleanliness and hygiene are required and familiarity with Safer Food Better Business is preferred. Food Hygiene certificate is essential.

The ideal Candidate will have experience of cooking in a similar environment. Awareness of allergy’s, dietary requirements and cross contamination is essential.

Due to the nature of the role it will be necessary for an enhanced criminal record disclosure to be undertaken.
