Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship – Maybury Montessori Nursery, Deputy Under 2’s Room Lead 

Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship at Maybury Montessori Nursery, Woking.

Transitions between age groups happen gently and based on each child’s readiness.

Welcoming children from 6 months to 5 years old.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

• Working closely with the over 2’s room lead in support the development and learning.
• Managing a small team of practitioners.
• Supporting the manager in the day to day running of the setting.
• Creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children.
• Planning and delivering engaging activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Observing and assessing children’s development and progress, ensuring individual needs are met.
• Building strong relationships with parents and caregivers, facilitating open communication about their child's development.
• Working collaboratively with your colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
• Ensuring compliance with all nursery policies, procedures, and safeguarding practices.

Requirements;

• A Level 3 Childcare qualification is essential 
• Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English, or equivalent 
• You must be able to gain a clear DBS
• First Aid

Hours;

• The setting is open from 8:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday
• The successful candidate will be required to work 36 - 40 hours per week over 4 days
