Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Little Acorns Nursery, Camelford

Little Acorns Nursery accepts Children aged from 2 years 0 months to 5 years 0 months.

Little Acorns Nursery has capacity for a total of 20 Children.

Little acorns nursery opened in November 2006 and is situated at the back of please hall within walking distance of Camelford town centre

Our setting aims to can education for children below statuary school age, working partnerships with parents to help children learn and develop, to provide a safe secure and stimulating environment, to add life and well-being of the local community, and to offer the children and their parents a service that promotes equality and values diversity

Absolutely cones nursery we strive to work in partnership with parents and their children enabling environment to be created where there is a strong link between home and the setting. We see parents as partners in their children's learning and development and will invite you to be actively involved in your child's nursery journey

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

• Support the key members of the team with the learning and development of the children in the nursery.
• Assisting with setting up activities and being hands on with learning through play.
• Knowledge of the EYFS
• Undertaking all aspects pf personal care
• Assisting at mealtimes
• Liaising with parents and keeping them updated with their child’s progress
• Periodically assisting and joining outside of work hours to raise funds and awareness if the nursery
• Awareness of safeguarding

Requirements;

• GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English, or equivalent 

Hours;

• Little Acorns Nursery is open: Monday 08:00-17:00, Tuesday 08:00-15:00, Wednesday 09:00-15:00, Thursday 09:00-15:00, Friday 09:00-15:00.
• The successful candidate will be required to work up to 30 hours per week
