Early Years Practitioner (Level 3) – Rainbow Day Care, Hoyland
Hours: Minimum 25 hours per week (set days/hours, full year)
Salary: Dependent on qualification and experience (above NMW/NLW)
Rainbow Day Care is on the lookout for a very special person to join our outstanding team! This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well-established setting with an excellent reputation, working closely with our Nursery Deputy Manager, Room Manager, and Owners.
We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards of care and education, and we are seeking someone who shares our passion for providing exceptional early years experiences.

What We’re Looking For
You will be someone who:
- Holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or is working towards it)
- Demonstrates responsibility, flexibility, initiative, and a positive attitude
- Has experience delivering excellent standards of care and early education
- Values teamwork and strong communication
- Has a warm, smiling presence that makes every child feel special

- Singing on key isn’t required — confidence to sing off-key to a crowd is!
- You can count multiple rapidly-moving small humans in seconds

We offer an exceptional learning experience for children aged 0-5 years and we take pride in our committed approach to delivering excellence in Early Years care and education.
Our open-plan rooms are bright, spacious and provide a calming, yet inspirational environment. The outdoor learning space flows from the open-plan rooms and gives the children the excitement and opportunity to enjoy our mud kitchen area, sandpit and lots of natural materials to explore their own levels of risk by creating their own adventures through balancing and climbing activities. We also have our own vegetable and fruit garden where the children are learning how to plant and grow their own. Our highly experienced and qualified team of Practitioners support each child to explore their own natural curiosity and will extend individual learning needs and interests of your child.
