We’re now looking for Early Years Practitioners to join our friendly team in Rothwell.

Whether you’re an experienced Level 3 (preferred), a Level 2 looking to progress, or someone new to early years and eager to start your career, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll play a key role in helping our children explore, learn, and flourish every day – creating inspiring learning opportunities, supporting routines, and building trusted relationships with families.

We also have flexible Bank Team opportunities available, perfect for students or those looking for part-time hours.

Summary
We’re seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our team in Rothwell (LS26).
In this pivotal role, you’ll contribute to the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring they receive the highest quality care and education – all while working in a nurturing, supportive, and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging, play-based learning opportunities for children
  • Support each child’s individual learning journey and milestones
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment
  • Collaborate with parents and carers to support development and routines
  • Observe, monitor, and record progress in line with the EYFS
  • Safeguard every child, promoting their welfare at all times
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Participate in regular training and professional development

Qualifications / Experience

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (preferred)
  • Level 2 qualification or working towards Level 3 also considered
  • Previous experience in a childcare or nursery setting (preferred, not essential)
  • Knowledge of the EYFS and child development
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Genuine passion for helping children grow and thrive
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
