As an Early Years Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering exciting and stimulating activities
- Carrying out observations and assessing progress
- Supporting key children's development
- Building positive relationships with children and their parents/carers
- Assisting children with development of early reading and early maths skills
- Working collaboratively with your colleagues in the running of activities and organisation of the room
- Encouraging development through interactive play and age-appropriate learning experiences
- Helping children to start developing positive relationships and social skills from a young age
For this position it is essential that you hold at least a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare and have previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting with children under 5.
This is a permanent Early Years Practitioner position to work full time, 42 hours per week, with a competitive salary ranging from £27k-£30k per annum.
