ROOM LEADER JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Room Leader Location: The Redbrick Day Nursery Responsible to: Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager Responsible for: Early Years Practitioners, Nursery Assistants, Apprentices and students allocated to the room Hours: As stated in the individual contract of employment Main Purpose of the Role To lead and manage the day-to-day operation of an allocated nursery room, ensuring that children receive consistently high-quality care, learning and development opportunities. The Room Leader will provide clear leadership to the room team, maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment and ensure that practice meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage, Ofsted, safeguarding legislation and nursery policies and procedures.
