Childcare Apprenticeship - Kaleidoscope Nursery and Pre School
Shoots Training are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join Kaleidoscope Nursery as a Level 2 or 3 Childcare Apprentice.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain a qualification in Early Years via an Apprenticeship at Kaleidoscope Nursery and Preschool within a friendly team in the heart of Sherborne,

The setting accommodates children up to 5 years, with a large garden area and large sensory room. The children are accommodated in 2 preschool rooms, 2 baby rooms, 1 toddler room and a dining room.
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
- Supporting children with personal care
- Supporting with feeding and snacks
- Preparing activities for the children
- Participating in activities with the children
- Helping with messy play
- Working with other team members to keep the setting clean and tidy
- Must be willing to get involved
- Adhering to safeguarding procedures
- Always keeping the children safe
- Following health and safety procedures.
- Observing children
- Interacting with parents
Requirements:
- You must be able to obtain a clear DBS
- Preferably have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent to work towards your Level 3
Hours:
- For this position, the candidate would be working a minimum of 30 hours per week, with shifts between the setting’s opening hours of 8.00am and 17.30pm
