Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship - Learning Pandas

Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Learning Pandas as a Nursery Practitioner 

We care for children from 3 months old until they’re ready for Primary School, with a special focus on School readiness – School readiness is not just our passion, it’s our expertise.

We offer extended hours from Monday – Friday 7.30am to 6.30pm at no extra cost, perfect for busy parents. Conveniently located just opposite Chiswick Park Tube Station, our nursery is open 51 weeks in a year.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

• Support the senior members of the team in providing a safe and stimulating childcare
• Must be passionate about working with children from 6 months to age 5, and to providing high-quality care.
• You will be hands on with mealtimes and the personal care of the children in your care.
• Support the children with play and their education.
• Assist with planning and implementing the daily activities.
• Keep the parents updated with the children’s progress, along with updating the children’s learning journals regularly.

Requirements;

• Level 2 Childcare Qualification is required
• You will be a key member and have key children.
• Be able to work as part of a team providing a safe happy environment for the children
• Must be passionate, flexible, and have a vibrant imagination and to be able to get involved with the children’s learning, supporting them through learning and play
• You will be hands on with mealtimes and the personal care of the children in your care.
• You will assist with planning and implementing the daily activities.
• Keep the parents updated with the children’s progress, along with updating the children’s online learning journals (Family)

Hours;

• Learning Pandas is open from 07.30am - 18:30pm Monday to Friday
• The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week and shift patterns will be discussed
