Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship - Little Dreamers Nursery

Shoots Training are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Little Dreamers Nursery setting in Borden as a Level 3 Early Years Apprentice. 

You will be based in the baby room looking after and caring for the daily needs of the babies

We have a homely setting based on the outskirts of Bordon within a small business complex. The road runs through the main town centre in which commuters use to access the towns facilities and motorway network. 

The property itself has two large playrooms with sensory area, cosy corner and loose parts play and an exciting messy room on the ground floor for children aged 2-5 years.

The light airy Pre-school rooms free flow indoors and out, into a large securely fenced garden with mud kitchen, wooden house, balance beams and gardening activities on offer.

 Upstairs children from 0-2 years have use of 2 large play rooms including a cosy corner, messy area and a sensory room and a sleep area. Both floors have a kitchenette, toilet areas and nappy change facilities.

Our enthusiastic nursery educators will be helping and guiding your child to discover exciting learning experiences through a natural curiosity approach to play.

Your duties and Responsibilities will include;

• Helping with feeding and nappy changing ​​​​​​
• This role requires mainly interaction with the babies, support the baby’s development, with learning and play
• You will work part of a team to ensure that you are providing a stimulating and a high standard of care
• To always maintain and follow all safeguarding policies and procedures ​​​​​​
• Promote the health, safety and wellbeing of the babies and children in the setting​​​​​​
• Communication with all children, practitioners, parents and external agencies
• To ensure good standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness are always maintained.

Requirements:-

• Experience in a similar role is required
• GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent 
• You must be able to gain a clear DBS

Hours;

• Little Dreamers Nursery are open from 07.30am to 18.00pm Monday to Friday
• Working hours will be 40 hours per week and shift patterns will be discussed
